Each student was assigned a chapter of the novel. By folding an 12"x18" piece of paper just slightly off of center, they were able to create a "tabbed" flap for the bulletin board. The cover had to have three symbols on it to represent what the chapter was about. The second tab told what the chapter was about (Summary). The last tab told what real life history was mentioned in the chapter.
The students had to come up with three things to symbolize the chapter. This student chose playing cards, a blindfold, and money.
