Tessellation Quilt

With one of my classes, we constructed a tessellation quilt, 5'x 6' that hangs in our school. It is made up of 24 different tessellation designs sewn together to form a quilt.

This is wonderful! How much assistance did you provide with the process:
cutting the fabric to make the basic geometric shapes, sewing the seams of each shape, sewing the pieces together to form each 'square' etc. and is this sewn by hand(s) or machine...?

regardless of the details, it is a wonderful group project: congratulations...
