Egyptian Mummification Process: How to Mummify a Chicken (or Cornish Hen)

In this activity, you will be able to impact your students understanding of the mummification process in a way that they will remember it FOREVER! This becomes one of those lessons that in 20 years, students will say, "Yeah, I remember when we mummified the chicken. That was AWESOME!" I did this experiment years ago, but it was done differently and I actually buried the hens. One got water in it and the other did harden. I look forward to trying it your way.
